Invacare's approach to Safe Patient Handling is about understanding and working with Occupational Therapists and Healthcare Professionals to support their experiences within Community, Residential and Acute care.

Our range of Safe Patient Handling solutions, including beds, lifting and hygiene products, have been designed with comfort and safety in mind for individuals, family members and carers.

Alongside providing equipment of the highest quality, we are also committed to delivering tailored educational resources and bespoke support. Our team work closely with Occupational Therapists and Healthcare professionals to support joint assessments and provide appropriate solutions for independent community living.

In Safe Hands

We aim to make life's experiences possible by empowering those that care for individuals with not only market leading equipment, but also with educational content.

We understand that there are external factors that need to considered when issuing equipment, and as a result have designed our range of solutions to ensure a perfect fit.

We also understand that in 'Your Community' there are a variety of conditions. To assist with the task of equipment provision, we have personified some of these into 6 individuals, all of which are scored differently on the Functional Independence Measurement (FIM):

Mark, Esther, Huw, Joan, Luke & Olivia.

Trusted Solutions, Passionate People

Our range of solutions aim to empower people around the home, in the bedroom and in the bathroom. From ceiling hoists to shower chair commodes, and bariatric beds to bidets, the Safe Patient Handling range has been designed with your client, and their independence, in mind.

The range is supported by the highly experienced and knowledgeable Safe Patient Handling team. Invacare's Business Development Managers are available to answer your product queries, as well as assist in assessments for home adaptations and Community equipment.
